In partnership with UNESCO, Isep (the Paris Institute of Digital Technology) hosted the STAGE Center on their Paris campus and brought the Quantum Casino to local university and elementary students. This marks the first collaboration between the two organizations and helps further the impact of the University of Chicago’s Center in Paris. The public event was part of a three-day workshop on Spin Defects in Solids for Quantum Information Science, hosted by the International Institute of Research in Paris.

This interdisciplinary workshop brought together diverse research groups to foster collaborative work and encourage the open exchange of ideas, broadening the interconnected network of researchers from the University of Chicago, Q-NEXT, CNRS, France and Europe. Since the Quantum Casino makes quantum physics more accessible, tangible, and exciting for all participants, it perfectly suited Isep’s Quantum Physics Week and marked continued celebration of the International Year of Quantum.
