The STAGE Center, in collaboration with IBM and United Airlines, installed an interactive quantum computing exhibit at O’Hare International Airport on Thursday, September 25th. The exhibit offers a glimpse of IBM’s System One dilution refrigerator, bringing an exciting tool out of the lab and into view for a broad public audience.

Members of the public, STAGE Center staff and students, and representatives from IBM and United Airlines met in Terminal 1 to mark the official unveiling of the exhibit at O’Hare International Airport and the official launch of the accompanying STAGE Center site. The website provides an interactive look at the quantum computer on display, allowing viewers to learn about its accompanying parts and potential impacts on the future.
