Tohoku Open Campus 2025

Aug 4, 2025

On July 30th and 31st, students from the STAGE Center and Tohoku University presented the Quantum Games in Sendai, Japan as part of Tohoku’s annual “Open Campus Days” event. Bringing in around 60,000 attendees of prospective students, families, and researchers, “Open Campus Days” offers potential applicants to see the campus, learn about departmental offerings, and get excited about their future studies.

STAGE’s suite of original card games, board games, and digital games were all featured; you can learn more about each of them on the Quantum Casino page here.

With a shared enthusiasm for quantum research and technologies and an emphasis on science communication through fun, interactive gameplay, the STAGE Center was an organic fit for this two-day lineup. This is the second time STAGE was featured at the event, with strong hopes to continue the tradition in years to come.
